Join the City of Coppell’s Public Work- Traffic Team as our next Traffic Foreman and help shape the future of our city’s infrastructure. In this year-round leadership role, you’ll develop work plans, supervise a traffic crew of four, and ensure our traffic systems meet all safety standards. Schedule Commitment
Routinely works from 7:00-4:00, Monday-Friday, with additional hours as needed and is in the on-call rotation.

Pay Plan

This opportunity is non-exempt and on Pay Grade #14. The full Pay Grade Range is shown for growth and development opportunities within the grade. Salary determination is supported by budget availability and qualifications of the candidate to maintain internal equity.

Hiring Range: $29.68-$35.00

Min $29.68 ($61,727)
Mid $36.35 ($75,602)
Max $43.03 ($89,499)

Eligibility

Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5+ Years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic control devices.
  • Experience in a supervisory, project management, or a leadership role.
  • Certifications, Required or the ability to obtain post-hire for continued employment:
    • IMSA Level I Signs and Markings, or equivalent
    • IMSA Roadway Lighting Level I Certification, or equivalent
    • IMSA Level II Traffic Signal Field Certification, or equivalent
    • IMSA Signal Inspector Certification, or equivalent
