Project Manager/Supervisor

Project Manager/Supervisor for a specialty electrical Contractor (Traffic signals, roadway Lighting, highway signing and Intelligent Traffic Management Systems)

Location: Corpus Christi, Tx

Salary- $55,000.00 – $92,500.00 Annually

Summary of Position Requirements:

• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings

• Prior direct experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent; High school diploma or GED required
• Current, Valid Driver’s License
• Able to operate Computer software relevant to project Management
• Able to manage and direct personnel
• Spanish speaking and writing a plus but not necessary

• Education, Experience, and Certifications/Licenses:
• High School Diploma or GED plus (3) three years’ experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic control devices or equivalent of education, experience, or trade school (IMSA or other acceptable certifications).
• IMSA Work Zone Safety or TEEX course certification required at time of hire or soon after.
• Electrical Journeyman license is preferred or equal.
• Experience with NEMA TS1/TS2 preferred or equal
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test, criminal background check and MVR check.

Other Important Duties:

• Must work on-call and overtime as required.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Corpus Christi city limits.
• Travels to monitor work sites, and to attend meetings, conferences, and training.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Environmental Factors and Conditions:

• Work is performed in a construction site environment.
• May be subject to exposure to extreme temperature conditions, confined spaces, trenches, hazardous chemicals, fumes, air and water borne pathogens and infectious diseases.

Physical Demands: This work typically requires physical activities to be performed. A complete description of the activities can be made available upon request.

Work Environment:

•  Work performed is primarily medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Equipment and Tools Utilized:

• Equipment utilized includes personal computer, copier, calculator, fax machine and other standard office equipment, recreational equipment, cash register, cleaning supplies, and department vehicles.
